No. Every feature works without one. The app offers an optional profile so you can give a chart a name and keep more than one on the same device — nothing is locked behind it, and you can delete it at any time from the same card.
On your device, and nowhere else. The app has no server and contains no network code at all. Your birth details, your profile and anything you write stay in your phone’s local storage. You can verify this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and every feature still works.
Deleting the profile from the profile card erases what was stored for it, immediately and completely. Deleting the app removes everything else. Because nothing ever leaves your device, there is nothing held elsewhere for us to delete and no request you need to send us.
It computes a BaZi chart — the four pillars of year, month, day and hour from the traditional Chinese stem-and-branch calendar — from the birth date and time you enter. That chart, and the calendar position of the current day, are what the daily reading is built from. All of the arithmetic runs on your device.
We tested that question and published the answer inside the app rather than hiding it. We backtested our timing calls against tens of thousands of documented lives and they matched chance. So the app gives you a tendency and a window to think with, never a verdict, and we do not sell it as a prediction engine.
Tap Edit birth info at the top of the reading and enter it again. The chart and every reading built on it are recalculated on the spot.
The app ships in English and Chinese. It follows your device language, and the toggle in the top right corner switches it at any time.
If something is wrong — a calculation that looks off, a screen that will not load, a word that reads badly in translation — please tell us. Include your device model and iOS version if you can; it makes the fix much faster.
